N-Glycan Profile of Human Blood Serum of Breast Cancer Stage II Patient; Comparing Glycomic Profiles of Normal vs. Stage II of Breast Cancer (n=9)

Photofragmentation of Peptides
- MALDI tandem time-of -flight mass spectra of Angiotensin II (DRVYIHPF) (top) and peptide FSWGAEGQR (bottom) (A) 157 nm photodissociation with DHB matrix (B) PSD using CHCA matrix. (C) CID spectrum recorded with an AP/MALDI ion source and an ion trap analyzer. Peaks labeled M-X represent amino acid side chain neutral losses. Fragments labeled with * involve loss of NH3.

LC-IMS-MS & LC-IMS-CID-MS of Fruit Fly Head
- Aligned 3-D LCIMSMS and LCIMSCIDMS data sets obtained from an individual D.Melanogaster (fly) head. Parent ion peaks (red dots) and fragmentation peaks (orange dots) are obtained in parent and CID mode, respectively. One extracted CID spectrum (large blue dots) is highlighted and shown in the inset. A MASCOT search indicates that these fragments are consistent with the peptide FNSLEELQTR from drosocrystallin.

Informatics

Software for Glycopeptide Analysis
- Glycopeptide analysis software will 1) characterize the oligosaccharide from the glycan spectra alone, 2) subtract the glycan spectra from the glycopeptide spectra to compute virtual spectra of the peptides, 3) run a database search or de novo peptide sequencing algorithm to identify a peptide and determine attaching point of the glycan.
